Summary

This was one of my questions for @gkistanova in D143172, and it feels like it would be worth recording the answer in our documentation.

It would probably be good to record the same information for the main buildmaster, but I'm not sure of the answer here (is this only updated at the times when @gkistanova sends out the notifications about the buildmaster being restarted? Or is that something separate?).

Obviously very happy to iterate on this to add in more such information, or to find a better place for it.

I'm wondering about updating this patch to include similar information for the main buildmaster. What do you think?:

It would probably be good to record the same information for the main buildmaster, but I'm not sure of the answer here (is this only updated at the times when @gkistanova sends out the notifications about the buildmaster being restarted? Or is that something separate?).

Production buildbot gets reconfigured or restarted only if it is necessary when we have less commits and builds activity. And that's usually combined with other maintenance work. Frankly, I don't think it worth mentioning in the docs.
